Our recurring cleanings cover all the usual tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, sanitizing kitchens and bathrooms, and so on. Basically, we handle everything needed to keep your home consistently tidy. You can even tell us to focus on particular areas or chores you care about most.
It depends on the size and condition of your home, but as a rule of thumb a standard cleaning of an average house usually takes about 2–4 hours. The first cleaning might take a bit longer, while recurring visits are often quicker since we’re maintaining the space. We’ll always give you a time estimate up front, so you know what to expect.
We know every home is different, so we’re happy to tailor our services to your needs. You can adjust the frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly, etc.) and let us know if you want extra attention in certain rooms or tasks.
Our teams clean every interior area of your home or office, but for safety and focus, there are a few limits. We don't handle yard work such as lawn mowing, but we do offer exterior power washing as a separate service (see https://alexcleanings.com/power-washing/). Our standard house cleaning covers interior areas; exterior power washing is available as a separate service. We also avoid unsafe/hazardous jobs: for example, we won’t climb on ladders or deal with biohazards or pest infestations. We stick to standard housekeeping tasks to ensure the cleaning process is smooth and safe.
You don’t need to deep‑clean beforehand, but a little prep helps us work efficiently. Generally, just declutter main areas, like picking up toys, clothes, dishes, and other personal items from floors and surfaces, so our team can focus on cleaning perfectly. Quick pickup and clear instructions enable us to start immediately and thoroughly clean every corner.
We clean exteriors of major appliances (wiping down stoves, fridges, microwaves, etc.). If you want a really deep clean, we offer appliance interior cleaning as an add‑on. Just let us know in advance or during your quote if you’d like the oven or fridge cleaned inside, and we’ll include it in your service.
We stand by our work 100%. If something isn’t right, just give us a call and let us know what we missed within 24 hours, and we’ll come back to re‑clean it at no extra charge. Your satisfaction is our top priority, so we’ll make it right until you’re happy with the result.
