1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By opting in to receive text messages from Alex Cleaning Service (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Your consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from us.
2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Our SMS service provides you with text message communications that may include appointment confirmations and reminders, service scheduling updates, promotional offers and discounts, cleaning tips and seasonal reminders, customer satisfaction surveys, important service announcements, and account and billing notifications. These messages are designed to enhance your experience with our cleaning services and keep you informed about your account and our offerings.
3. OPT-IN AND CONSENT
By providing your mobile phone number and checking the opt-in box, or by texting a keyword to our designated short code, you expressly consent to receive automated marketing and transactional text messages from Alex Cleaning Service at the phone number provided. You certify that you are the authorized user of the mobile phone number you provide.
4. OPT-OUT PROCEDURES
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by texting “STOP” to any message you receive from us, calling us at (215) 677-9717, emailing us at [Insert Email Address], or following the unsubscribe link in any of our messages. Upon opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message confirming your unsubscription. After this confirmation, no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe.
5. MESSAGE FREQUENCY AND CHARGES
Message frequency varies but typically ranges from 2-6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Alex Cleaning Service does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier’s standard messaging rates apply. We are not responsible for any charges incurred from your mobile carrier.

We store your information securely and in accordance with applicable laws and will delete your information upon request, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. SUPPORTED CARRIERS
Our SMS service is compatible with major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, Metro PCS, U.S. Cellular, and other major carriers. The service may not be available on all carriers or in all areas.
9. TECHNICAL LIMITATIONS AND DISCLAIMERS
We cannot guarantee message delivery due to factors beyond our control. Messages may be delayed or fail due to carrier issues, phone settings, or network problems. We are not liable for any delays, failures, or errors in message transmission. Additionally, our SMS service may not be compatible with all mobile devices.
10. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
You agree to provide accurate and current mobile phone information and promptly notify us of any phone number changes. You must use the service only for lawful purposes and not use it to harass, abuse, or harm others. You are responsible for all activity associated with your phone number.
11. PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, attempt to disrupt or interfere with the service, use automated systems to interact with the service without permission, or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
12. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via SMS or through our website. Continued use of the service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALEX CLEANING SERVICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SMS SERVICE.
14. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alex Cleaning Service, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the SMS service or violation of these Terms.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alex Cleaning Service regarding the SMS service.
